New, Larger Facility for Transcriptic Robotics Lab

September 29, 2014

September 29, 2014 | Transcriptic, the programmable lab-for-hire, has moved to a new, 10,000-square foot location as it adds more instruments and "work cells" where experiments are conducted. The new space, still in Menlo Park, CA where the company was founded, is five times as large as the facility where Transcriptic began, a move that the company said in a press release was taken in response to growing demand.

It has been just two and a half months since Transcriptic launched its core service, a cloud-based platform that allows customers to program experiments, which are then run by custom-built robotics systems in dedicated work cells at the Transcriptic lab facility.
