Bina Technologies Wants to Remake Genome Analysis


May 1, 2012 | Bina Technologies emerged from stealth mode last week at the Bio-IT World Expo, aiming to bring an Apple-like business model to genomics. The company, co-founded by a Stanford University PhD student , CEO Narges Bani Asadi, relies on its Bina Box appliance to make genome analysis faster than typically possible without the benefit of a supercomputer, before shipping the data to the Bina Cloud, where they are for easy access and sharing. GigaOM
