Fetal Sequencing Based on Mother's Blood, Father's Saliva


June 7, 2012 | Researchers are now able to determine a fetus's entire genome from the mother's blood and the father's saliva. The test is based on cells from the fetus that are shed in the mother's blood. The technique was published yesterday in Science Translational Medicine. New York Times
