100,000 Genomes Project Expected to Meet Goal with New Funding

August 4, 2014 | U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron has announced that Genomics England, the publicly-owned company created one year ago with the mission of sequencing 100,000 human genomes, will receive an additional £300 million (~$505 million) to reach its goal by the end of 2017.
