A Panorama of Expression

Nov 15, 2005 | Sigma-Aldrich has introduced the Panorama Ab Microarray - Gene Regulation I Kit, an antibody array designed for studying protein expression in cell or tissue extracts compatible with human, mouse, and rat proteins. The antibodies represent families of proteins found in the nucleus that are involved in chromatin remodeling and regulation of gene expression, including transcription factors, and histone-modifying enzymes. Sigma-Aldrich says this array will enable researchers to elucidate pathways and identify mechanisms involved in gene regulation in less than two hours. The company has also introduced the Panorama Human Cancer version I Protein Functional Microarray developed by Procognia Ltd. The array contains 130 correctly folded proteins based on a recent scientific publication on cancer-mediating proteins.
