Oct 17, 2005 | EMC announced Documentum eRoom Enterprise version 7.3, a new version of its collaboration software. Enhancements in the new release make it easier for managers to oversee multiple projects and let researchers more easily share their work with colleagues. For example, EMC added new dashboard capabilities to version 7.3 that allow a user to pick, choose, and display in a single portal-like view select information about projects, events, and tasks contained in multiple eRooms. Other enhancements in the 7.3 release include instant messaging integration into the eRoom environment and new security features that allow more granular access control to data.
