This new version provides a workflow architecture that gives flexibility, enables the integration of proprietary sequence-related data, and gives a user interface which allows data retrieval. Using grid-computing, Pedant-Pro is structured for the analysis of large quantities of sequence data. According to the company, Pendant-Pro has been applied to several fields within the life sciences, including pharmaceutical, agriculture, and nutrigenomics research.
