Feb 15, 2006 | Agilent Technologies has introduced the industry’s first dual-mode, one-color/two-color microarray platform, offering researchers flexibility and performance for gene expression research. According to the company, until now researchers selecting a gene expression platform had to choose between convenience and resolving power, but with this new platform they no longer have to make a choice. The dual-mode microarrays incorporate Agilent’s proprietary inkjet microarray manufacturing process. The FDA recently selected the dual-mode platform as part of its Microarray Quality Control project designed to provide quality-control guidance to the microarray industry.
