Lab Notebook Simplifies Chemistry

Oct. 16, 2006 | The newly created Rescentris Collaborative Electronic Research Framework (CERF) Chemistry Edition uses ChemAxon's Marvin to build chemical structures and reactions and to view live chemical objects within their workspace. It also incorporates ChemAxon's JChem Base toolkit, which registes, manage, and search chemical structures throughout an organization's chemical IP. The company says that in the future, clustering, virtual library enumeration, and screening and drug design capabilities will be able to be rolled out to Recentris' CERF users to ensure the relevance of CERF to chemical and life science research.
