Quantapore Receives $35m Investment Toward New Sequencer


May 22, 2014 | An ex-Ion Torrent scientist has a $35 million investment to prove his new sequencer is faster and cheaper than anything else. Quantapore, the Menlo Park company, has received $35 million from an unidentified source tied to milestones, but company founder Martin Huber says the technology allows for long reads with less sample prep and less time.
