June 14, 2006 | Agilent has launched a line of HPLC columns that is set to deliver industry-leading separation performance for analytical, high-resolution, and fast LC applications, including pharmaceutical QA/QC, environmental, and food-safety analysis. The Eclipse Plus columns are an expansion to Agilent’s Zorbax column family and are made using an improved silica-manufacturing and novel bonding process under stringent reproducibility standards. The Eclipse Plus is available in 1.8-, 3.5-, and 5-micrometer particle sizes for all analytical applications. Methods can be scaled from analytical to nano scale or preparatory scale, all within the same column family.
