SHIRLEY, NY, USA - Sep 28, 2016 - With years of experience in antibody research and development, Creative Biolabs released anti-idiotypic antibody production service to further support researchers in the field of antibody related studies.

There are three features of this service from Creative Biolabs. It can detect FREE antibodies, TOTAL antibodies and T cell receptors.

Anti-idiotypic Antibody Production Service Detecting FREE Antibodies

Creative Biolabs uses target antibodies in scFv forms or peptides designed according to the sequences of the variable domains as targets to isolate anti-idiotypic antibodies from immunized phage display library. If variable regions of both heavy and light chains contribute idiotypic determinants, the idiotype is likely to be a conformational determinant, then scFv form will be used. On the other hand, individual idiotypes may be located either in heavy or light chains and contain the primary amino acid sequences of the variable regions. These idiotypes are more likely to be sequence-dependent, and linear antigenic determinants. In this situation peptides will be utilized as target proteins. Anti-ID antibodies can then be isolated by immunized phage display library technology.

Anti-idiotypic Antibody Production Service Detecting TOTAL Antibodies

Creative Biolabs utilizes competitive selection of phage display technique to isolate anti-idiotypic antibodies detecting total antibody. Specialized selection strategies enable the generation of an antibody that binds to an idiotope outside the antigen binding site of the drug. This antibody is not inhibitory and offers the assay developer enhanced flexibility and better overall information about the availability and the state of the drug antibody.

Anti-idiotypic Antibody Production Service Detecting T Cell Receptors

Creative Biolabs provides anti-idiotypic antibody production service detecting T cell receptors. It utilizes target TCR in scFv form or using a peptide designed according to the sequences of the variable domains as target to isolate anti-idiotypic antibodies from immunized phage diplay library. n 95% of T cells, this consists of an α and β chain, whereas in 5% of T cells this consists of γ and δ chains. This ratio changes during ontogeny and in diseased states. So the idiotype of each V region of a single immunoglobulin molecule may be comprised of as many as 15-20 idiotopes, which can be distinguished by monoclonal anti-idiotypic antibodies or defined by a specific and unique amino acid sequence.
