Chinese Government Bans Sequence-Based Testing

March 5, 2014 | The Chinese government has banned domestic hospitals and other medical and health institutions from providing genetic tests to customers. The ban makes the government's regulations more strict than the FDA's recent action against 23andMe, and is seems to be targeted to DNA-based prenatal testing.
