Liaison Healthcare Informatics (Booth 248)
Product Name: Liaison Alloy Health: Registry version 1.1
Liaison.com

The Liaison Alloy Health: Registries are pre-built or custom applications that utilize an expandable medical ontology to collect and store data in a cloud-hosted database in relevant and meaningful ways. In addition, the registries come with a suite of tools designed to allow users to build or modify data collection forms, load existing datasets, perform ad-hoc queries, and create meaningful graphics.

Forms are built using “ontology concepts.” Each concept in the ontology (i.e. patient first name or dosage of acetaminophen) contains metadata that keeps different datapoints related in the correct way (“this dosage of acetaminophen is for Larry”). When data is entered into a form it is handed to the Data Access Layer (DAL), which uses this metadata to generate the SQL necessary to properly store the data. The querying tool provides a drag-and-drop interface for quickly querying data that leverages the power of the DAL, allowing users to ask the questions that they want without having to write SQL of their own. Once the data is loaded and stored accurately it will be passed to the visualize tool where it can be utilized to display data in meaningful ways that can uncover unseen patterns and improve ability for communicating progress or areas of improvement.

Tamr for CDISC provides a simple, scalable way to automatically convert, validate, and package clinical study data according to the latest CDISC standards. Tamr understands the systems’ input and output formats and controlled terminologies, and automatically converts clinical datasets using the proper definition files. When CDISC standards are updated, Tamr automatically updates any older submissions to match new requirements. Future transformations become easier as Tamr learns, enabling businesses to build in-house conversion and integration expertise. Tamr stays on top of changing standards, helping you build your clinical data warehouse over time.

Tamr includes workflows and technologies that (1) simplify data loading from a variety of data formats (it comes pre-loaded with a single, consistent version of SDTM and its associated codelists - just add your data); (2) automate data transformations & matching; (3) asks expert questions (when the system can’t automate steps) and promotes active learning (by feeding expert answers back into the system); and (4) perform validation of the integrated data set (according to rules pre-loaded by Tamr or supplied by you) & export (XPORT, CSV, XML or JSON formats). Tamr customers include Roche and Novartis.
