Panthera's network of UK clinical trials sites grows to seven with several others in development.

PRESTON, UNITED KINGDOM - Aug 26, 2020 - Since launching its first site in Preston in North West England in 2019, Panthera continues to expand its network of UK clinical trial sites with a new site in North London in collaboration with a GP Super partnership Medicus Health Partners. The new site, which is now open for business, is located in the London Borough of Enfield.

In the first quarter of 2021, the site will expand into a newly built customised healthcare centre commissioned by Medicus. As well as recruiting and running trials for those conditions which are treated in general practice including cardiovascular disease, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, diabetes, allergies and migraine, the North London site will also run clinical trials for CNS conditions including pre-symptomatic and prodromal Alzheimer’s, mild cognitive impairment, depression and neurological conditions such as MS and Parkinson’s supported by a growing number of specialist PIs in London.

Stuart Young CEO of Panthera commented “Despite the disruption of Covid we are ahead of our plans for opening new clinical trial sites with several more in the pipeline. We are also in discussions with partners across the EU. We can now offer our clients not only top tier specialist sites but also access to millions of patients.”
