Tribal Worldwide London, is announcing a new total health experience agency – Tribal Health – which will begin working with clients from January 2021. Tribal Health will bridge the gap between brand promise and the new digital brand experience healthcare companies are seeking. As a result of Covid, McKinsey has reported HCPs’ interactions with pharma reps has fallen by 65% and patient consultations have reduced by 45%, with digital seen as the key channel to counter this. The agency has won and been working with an increasing number of healthcare brands in recent years and have developed a deep expertise in the sector. The pandemic has accelerated the digital transformation of many healthcare brands and we are excited to bring our 25 years of experience of creating brilliant digital experiences for consumer brands further into the healthcare sector.” Tribal Health’s clients will include GlaxoSmithKline, Gilead and Medela, which are all currently working with the agency under the Tribal Worldwide umbrella. The launch comes in direct response to the growing need for healthcare companies to find new ways of reaching customers, improve communications and use data more effectively, in part as a result of the changing global landscape caused by Covid. The team will be led by Jason Galla-Barth, a Managing Partner at Tribal. Jason is an experienced healthcare marketing with over 15 years of developing and delivering large effective multi-channel global healthcare programmes at agencies including Publicis Life Brands, VMLY&Rx and Ogilvy Health. “With face-to-face engagement between customers becoming more and more limited, 2020 has proved a catalyst for pharma to look at its offering and move rapidly towards greater digitalisation,”’ commented Galla-Barth. “We are seeing a shift away from more traditional advertising to personalised data driven marketing across the entire industry and Tribal Health are uniquely placed to support clients with this shift.” Tribal Health’s sector-specific experience will be underpinned by the digital expertise within Tribal Worldwide’s extended team.
