APS-5 (CAS No: 193884-53-6) is a chemiluminescent substrate based on 9,10-dihydroacridine, mainly used to detect compounds with alkaline phosphatase AP conjugates. At present, chemiluminescence immunity has become the mainstream of immune market in China. Reaction Mechanism of APS-5


When APS-5 is mixed with alkaline phosphatase (ALP), the alkaline phosphatase phosphate is hydrolyzed and the substrate immediately undergoes a decomposition reaction to release photons, and the number of photons released is proportional to the concentration of alkaline phosphatase in the solution within a specific alkaline phosphatase concentration range, so it can be used for the quantitative detection of alkaline phosphatase.
