Microbiosci Develops Data-independent Acquisition Proteomics to Support Molecular Diagnostics

November 27, 2022

Microbiosci, the mature division of Creative Biogene, is dedicated to imagining and pioneering new methods to decode the secrets of microbiology to improve human health. The main goal is to empower the scientific community with tools that help scientists to achieve exceptional outcomes by removing the technological barriers to studying microbiology. Recently, Microbiosci announced the release of its data-independent acquisition proteomics to support the research of molecular diagnostics and basic life science.

Creative Biogene is dedicated to helping customers use proteomics to understand how the microbial proteome shapes specific characteristics of an organism to guide its response under stressful conditions or unleash its natural defenses against antimicrobials or resistance. With advanced instrumentation and state-of-the-art multivariate data analysis, clients' project requirements and budgets in proteomics exploration can be fully met.

Creative Biogene provides data-independent acquisition (DIA) proteomics services for microbial samples. In mass spectrometry, data-independent acquisition (DIA) is a molecular structure determination method in which all ions in a selected m/z range are fragmented and analyzed in the second stage of tandem mass spectrometry. Tandem mass spectra can be obtained by fragmenting all ions entering the mass spectrometer at a given time (called broadband DIA) or by sequentially separating and fragmenting the m/z range. DIA is an alternative to data-dependent acquisition (DDA) in which a fixed number of precursor ions are selected and analyzed by tandem mass spectrometry. The experienced team provides customers with cost-effective and efficient proteomics services to help customers achieve breakthroughs in basic research.

Creative Biogene's DIA proteomics is not limited by the number of samples, and can be used for large-scale sample number detection, with few preprocessing operations, and is not limited by sample conditions, utilizing Thermo Fisher's Q Exactive HF mass spectrometry platform, Orbitrap Fusion mass spectrometry platform, Orbitrap Fusion Lumos mass spectrometry platform combined with Nano-LC to provide detection services for researchers.

“We provide one-stop services such as protein extraction, protease digestion, peptide separation, mass spectrometry analysis, mass spectrometry raw data analysis, and bioinformatics analysis.” said Marcia Brady, the marketing director of Creative Biogene, she also added, “With a talented team of experts and years of experience in the field, we ensure you efficient standard workflows and high-quality data to satisfy diverse requirements.
