August 18, 2020

State-of-the-Art Continuing Care Center and Leading Digital Patient Engagement Innovator Work Together to Enhance Patient Experience

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - Aug 18, 2020 - eVideon, a leader in interactive patient engagement and digital workflow solutions, today announced that Ojai Valley Community Hospital’s Continuing Care Center, a brand new 75-bed skilled nursing facility, has gone live with the company’s market-leading Patient  Experience Platform and Digital Signage  solutions. The Continuing Care Center - which is part of the Community Memorial Health System, an eVideon partner since 2018 - will provide patients with entertainment, education, and relaxation offerings. Additionally, they will be able to disseminate personalized information to patients and visitors via the user-friendly digital signage interface.

The Continuing Care Center has equipped the entire facility - including all patient, activity and dining rooms - with the eVideon system, giving patients entertainment and self-service capabilities, and adding new features and content to assist Activity and Nutritional Services. Additionally, the system’s Digital Signage offers the benefit of unparalleled flexibility - allowing staff to edit and update public display information so patients and visitors can get real-time updates about their schedules, announcements, policies, and more without overextending clinical staff with administrative demands.

“We are thrilled to have eVideon’s cutting-edge digital solutions within our new facility,” said Ed Pulido, Interim Director of Nursing at the Continuing Care Center. “Our staff loves the Digital Signage editor for its ease of use and ability to share care information, and our patients really appreciate the entertainment offerings, and how simple it is to access and engage with critical information about their health status and care plan.”

eVideon’s interactive patient care system can seamlessly integrate with any device, operating system, EMR, or hospital application, ensuring a convenient experience for patients and staff alike. Healthcare organizations of all sizes can the reap benefits of the interactive patient care and digital workflow technology, like increased patient satisfaction, engagement, and care outcomes. The user-friendly interface ensures patients stay engaged in their recovery plan by automating routine compliance tasks and delivering critical information in the right way at the right time.

“It has been rewarding to work so closely with the team at Ojai Valley and witness their commitment to high-quality patient care and experience, even amid the demands of the pandemic,” said Jeff Fallon, CEO of eVideon. “We are pleased to expand our customer network and provide their staff with the necessary technology and tools to support their efforts in reducing caregiver burden and improving patient engagement and overall experience.”
