Springer Nature Joins PubHive Document Delivery Service

September 21, 2022

PubHive Ltd. today announced an agreement with Springer Nature to make Springer Nature journal articles available via PubHive’s new document delivery service that will launch in the coming months. The agreement will enable PubHive to better serve its growing base of life science corporate customers by providing direct purchasing, fulfillment, copyright royalty payment services, and subscription-related resources for Springer Nature content that is purchased via PubHive Navigator, the company’s cloud-based workflow automation platform.

PubHive President and CEO Raj Vaghela said, “PubHive is delighted that Springer Nature has decided to join our new document delivery service, which will deliver unique benefits to publishers as well as the various literature stakeholders within manufacturers in pharmaceuticals, vaccines, biotechnology, medical devices, and diagnostics. Publishers benefit by making their content more easily accessible within the mission-critical workflows of life science literature stakeholders, while literature users benefit from easier legal access.”

“Knowledge workers at life science enterprises rely on journal content from trusted sources like Springer Nature in order to discover, develop, and ensure the ongoing safety of new healthcare innovations,” said Silvia Serra, Director Rights, Licensing & Permissions at Springer Nature. “Springer Nature is excited about our new collaboration with PubHive, whose scientific literature platform makes it easier for literature users to gain legal access to STM content when and where they need it within their role-specific workflows.”
