Photoactive Polymers, Alternative Energy Materials, and Micro-Nano Electric Materials

February 26, 2023

Earlier this month, the New York-based chemical supplier Alfa Chemistry announced the addition of photoactive polymers, alternative energy materials, and micro-nano electric materials to its already well-established material portfolio. Over the past few years, the company has gained fame in providing a wide range of novel chemicals and materials, including: nanomaterials, MOFs, COFs, nanofibers, nanoparticles, pheromones, functional materials, ionic liquids, organic silane, low molecular weight alcohols, perovskite quantum dots, rare earth alloys, 2D materials, and more.

“We aim to support researchers engaged in exploring potential applications with various materials. Meanwhile, we also target clients who are involved with chemical and material supply chains. As we prioritize product quality and safety for the use of chemicals, all of our materials are manufactured in compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standards. Hence, customers fully trust our brand and products, said the Marketing Chief of Alfa Chemistry.

Photoactive Polymers

Also known as photosensitizers, sensitizers, and light crosslinking agents, photoactive polymers are widely applied in solar cells, 3D printing, and photodynamic therapy (PDT) owing to their unique physicochemical properties. Alfa Chemistry is now able to provide a wide range of photoactive polymers, some of which are listed here: MEH-PPV (CAS 138184-36-8), Poly(3-butylthiophene-2,5-diyl) (CAS 98837-51-5),   F8T2 (CAS 210347-56-1), F8BT (CAS 210347-52-7), PFN-DOF (CAS 673474-75-4), Poly(2,5-di(hexyloxy)cyanoterephthalylidene) (CAS 151897-69-7), Poly(5-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-2-methoxy-cyanoterephthalylidene) (CAS 194292-84-7), Super yellow light-emitting PPV copolymer (CAS 26009-24-5), Poly(9,9-di-(2-ethylhexyl)-9H-fluorene-2,7-vinylene), and Poly(2,5-dioctyl-1,4-phenylenevinylene).

Alternative Energy Materials for Hydrogen Storage

To overcome the existing bottleneck regarding traditional hydrogen storage, novel and advanced materials have been developed, such as hydrogen storage alloys, coordination hydride hydrogen storage materials, carbon-based hydrogen storage materials, and organic liquid hydride hydrogen storage materials. As an advocator for green energy and sustainable development, Alfa Chemistry offers varieties of alternative energy materials for hydrogen storage, including: deuterated materials, alloys, boranes & borohydrides, catalysts & modifiers, covalent organic framework (COF) linkers, carbon, magnesium, metal hydrides, and MOFs & MOF raw materials. To name just a few here: Lithium Triethylborodeuteride (CAS 74540-86-6), Lithium Deuteride (CAS 13587-16-1), Nickel Calcium Alloy (CAS 77980-80-4), Titanium Manganese Alloy (CAS 220316-38-1), Lithium Ammonia Borane (CAS 99144-67-9), Ammonia-Borane Carboxylic Acid (CAS 74861-59-9), Yttrium Nickel Alloy (CAS 12333-67-4), Borane Dimethylamine Complex (CAS 74-94-2), Lanthanum-Nickel-Cobalt Alloy (CAS 130469-99-7), Vanadium(III) Bromide (CAS 13470-26-3), Di-tert-butylimidazolinium Tetrafluoroborate (CAS 137581-21-6), Rhodium (CAS 7440-16-6), Magnesium Formate Dihydrate (CAS 6150-82-9), Scandium(III) Hydride (CAS 43238-07-9), etc.

Micro-Nano Electric Materials

Micro-nano electric materials are of diverse properties and functions and have been found applicable in fields like electronic machinery, biological medicine, and photoelectronics. The micro-nano electric materials provided by Alfa Chemistry can be further divided into: CVD precursor, electronic chemical, quasicrystal, self-assembly and contact printing, self-assembly and lithography, and solution deposition precursor. For instance, Selenium tetrachloride, 99.5% (CAS 10026-03-6), 2,4,4-Trimethylpentan-2-amine Hydrobromide, 97% (CAS 1093859-61-0), AlCuFe quasicrystal,  N-Decyldimethylchlorosilane (CAS 38051-57-9), Tetrabutylphosphonium hexafluorophosphate, 98% (CAS 111928-21-3), Dodecyldimethylchlorosilane (CAS 66604-31-7), Ethyldimethylchlorosilane (CAS 6917-76-6), Tetrakis(dimethylamino)ethylene, 95% (CAS 996-70-3), Scandium(III) isopropoxide (CAS 60406-93-1), Lithium thiophenoxide (CAS 2973-86-6), Chlorendic acid (CAS 115-28-6), 4-Ethylthiophenol (CAS 4946-13-8), etc., are available within reach.
