    The NHS could save up to £360M per year by using FFP3 face masks – the NHS already has a large stockpile of these masks so there is no current need to purchase more. Independent studies commissioned by PPE manufacturer Globus Group and carried out by York Economic Health Consortium and Vital Economics confirm that these masks may be better at preventing respiratory infection and resulting staff days off.

    VisualDx has teamed up with Emergence Health Holdings, an urgent care network across New England, to grant its providers access to AI-fueled assistive technology to support diagnosis and treatment. Amid concurrent crises, staff shortages, and other challenges in medicine, VisualDx is collaborating with an array of organizations to arm clinicians with tech that helps them do their jobs better, faster, and more accurately. In addition to Emergence, the company also recently teamed up with the Vermont Department of Health, HHS’s Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, and the American College of Emergency Physicians to help clinicians diagnose and treat everything from Covid to Monkeypox, polio, the flu, and more.
